Get On Rides Before The Lines!

Rope drop - it's that magical time of day when anything and everything seems possible. Rope Drop simply refers to the moment when the Disney Parks open for the day. The crowds are the smallest and the lines are the shortest at Rope Drop, making this a great time to get on that super-popular ride that you want to experience. For example, Toy Story Midway Mania, at Hollywood Studios, runs out of FastPasses pretty quickly and the lines can get pretty long during the day. That might be a great place to head at Hollywood Studios Rope Drop. At Epcot, the major draws are Soarin' and Test Track. Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom attractions don't typically run out of FastPasses as quickly as those other three ride do, but some very popular attractions that do get long lines are Peter Pan's Flight and Jungle Cruise. At Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids are among the most popular. Rope Drop doesn't always happen at the scheduled park opening time. Often, Disney parks will open between 5-15 minutes prior to that scheduled time. The early bird gets the... first ride of Toy Story Midway Mania!
