Animal Kingdom Including Offsite Guests In FastPass+ Testing

The next milestone in the FastPass+ program has been reached and the system is now being offered to Disney Guests staying offsite, though in a slightly different form. Beginning December 18, 2013, the older, paper FASTPASS system will no longer be available for use. Instead, Guests will be able to use the FastPass+ system when they are choosing to avoid Standby lines. Disney Resort Guests will be able to access the system via the MyDisneyExperience app from any location, up to 60 days in advance of their trip, while offsite Guests will have access to it through kiosks located at various locations around Animal Kingdom. These locations are at Kali River Rapids, Primeval Whirl, Expedition Everest, outside at Disney Outfitters, and outside the service center located at Creature Comforts. Non-Resort Guests will be given RFID enabled park tickets to access the FastPass+ system and touch points. Officially, this is only a "test" and might revert back to the way it was previously.
