First Details From Animal Kingdom's New Nighttime Show!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World is right in the middle of the largest expansion in park history. A big part of this expansion includes a new land, themed after the blockbuster film, Avatar. In addition, Animal Kingdom's hours will be expanding - the park will no longer consistently close earlier than the other Disney Parks. And, with nighttime hours, comes a brand new, nighttime spectacular, Rivers of Light!

Disney has recently described Rivers of Light as "an innovative show unlike anything ever seen in Disney Parks, combining live music, floating lanterns, water screens and swirling animal imagery. The show will magically come to life on the broad, natural stage of the Discover River, between Discovery Island and Expedition Everest."

The many different aspects of the new and expanded Animal Kingdom may debut at any time between now and 2017, so definitely stick around for more details!
