New Daily Animal Experience At Animal Kingdom!

It seems like there is no end to the new and amazing things coming to Disney World's Animal Kingdom! From the re-opening of the Festival of the Lion King at the brand new Harambe Theater, to the work currently going on for the coming Avatar-themed land, to the coming extended park hours, Animal Kingdom is on a path to offering guests even more than ever before! My family is particularly excited about a new show coming to the Rafiki's Planet Watch section of the park, called It All Started With A Mouse. The name of the show is taken from the words of Walt Disney himself, who said of his growing empire, "I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse."

The show will features the sheep, parrots, porcupines, birds of pretty and Kunekune pigs of Conservation Station (also located at Rafiki's Planet Watch), who help Cast Members tell stories, relate interesting facts, and share a message of conversation along with rousing calls-to-action. After all, when talking about the animal world, Walt Disney also noted his belief that "what everyone will learn who studies it is a renewed sense of kinship with the earth and all its inhabitants." Following the show, guests will have an chance to meet with the animals themselves, as well as take some fabulous photos.

Rafiki's Planet Watch can be reached via the Wildlife Express train. Disney asks that guests allow at least 15 minutes to board the train, take the short ride, and then head over to the show from the Planet Watch station. It All Started With A Mouse is a 20-minute long show, performed once daily, at 11:30am.
