Last year was the first year that my family and I arrived at the Magic Kingdom, began heading down Main Street, and saw the giant crane towering above Cinderella Castle. The kids were totally impressed with it's hugeness. I was a little bummed that all of our pictures were going to have the crane in the background. It's a necessary evil, however. That enormous crane is there to get the Dream Lights ready for the outstandingly beautiful Christmas Season at Walt Disney World.
Disney has just released their tentative time frame for putting those Dream Lights up on the Castle this year. The crane just arrived the other day, and is expected to last until September 21, 2014. Of course, things could last a little bit longer, depending on weather and any other snags like that. But, that's the estimate for now!
