Innoventions West At Epcot To Close

Outside of Epcot's Innoventions West
Disney has officially announced that the exhibits within Innoventions West will be closing as of April 30, 2015. Innoventions West, one of two Innoventions pavilions, has been home to interactive games, exhibits, and activities that entertain and educate. In Innoventions West, my kiddos have enjoyed The Great Piggybank Adventure, which teaches guests how to save and invest money toward a final goal, and Where's The Fire, a game helping players to learn about potential fire hazards in the home.

Speaking to the Orlando Sentinel, a Disney spokesman said, "We've reached the end of our sponsorship agreements with the exhibitors in Innoventions West and will temporarily close the space in early May to begin preparing for a new experience."

Innoventions East remains open, with exhibitors such as StormStruck, Habit Heroes (my children's personal favorite), and the Sum of All Thrills. Interestingly enough, Innoventions at Disneyland Park will be closing at the end of March 2015. I'll keep you posted with updates as to what may be coming in those locations as soon as I hear something.
