A few weeks ago, we talked about how Disney's Pop Century Resort was going to be the first to eliminate the old-style Key To The World cards, going strictly with the MyMagic+ program. Well, the All-Star Resorts are the next ones to take their spot in this latest phase of the testing of Disney's new program. This took effect on December 2 for All-Star Sports, and will be taking effect December 4 for All-Star Music and December 6 for All-Star Movies. What does this mean for you? Basically, it means that Guests staying at these resort hotels will exclusively use their Magic Bands (or RF enabled cards, if they choose those as opposed to the Magic Bands) to get and use their FastPasses. Theses Guests will no longer be able to use the old paper FASTPASS system. The old system is in the process of being phased out in favor of the new FastPass+ system.
