• Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can now lock in their FastPass+ reservations via the MyDisneyExperience phone/tablet app as well as the MyDisneyExperience website. What's more, is that this can be done up to 30 days in advance of their chosen reservation date. They can book up to 7 days of FastPass+ reservations at a time within that 30-day rolling window. Annual Passholders will receive MagicBands that can be used for park entrance as well as for entering the FastPass lines at attractions.
• Beginning March 31, 2014, Disney World day guests will also be able to make their FastPass+ reservations through the various MyDisneyExperience portals, once they link their purchased park tickets to their online Disney account. These guests will also be able to lock in those reservations up to 30 days in advance of their planned visit and for as many days at a time as park days on their ticket. Day guests will receive RFID-enabled tickets that can be used for entrance to theme parks, as well as to enter the FastPass lines at attractions. They will be able to purchase MagicBands, however, for $12.95 plus tax.
• Disney World guests staying at the Swan or Dolphin resorts (hotels located on the Disney property, but not owned or operated by Disney itself) will have FastPass+ access more similar to guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. They will have the ability to make reservations 60 days in advance of their stay. They will, however, receive RFID-enabled park tickets, as opposed to MagicBands. The MagicBands will be available for purchase, for this group of guests, for the same price of $12.95 plus tax.
