Fireworks And More At Star Wars Weekends 2015

We have some more information about this year's Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and it's going to be incredible. Star Wars Weekends is the annual celebration of everything related to our favorite galaxy far, far away. Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 15-June 14, 2015, you can visit a Hollywood Studios that has been transformed for the event, filled with special shows, character meet & greets, and more.

"James Arnold Taylor, the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi on 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars,' will return to host the Stars of the Saga talk show - including everyone’s favorite stormtrooper preshow - at a new larger location in the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard [where you can also enjoy the live Beauty and the Beast show].

Darth’s Mall is moving to a new and expanded complex near Streets of America where you can find Star Wars-themed and exclusive event merchandise just for Star Wars Weekends 2015.

Plus, Star Wars characters assemble and 'Summon the Force' each night for a grand celebration, including a look back at greatest moments throughout the day on social media. 

And, at the end of the day, the night sky will erupt in an interstellar frenzy of fireworks as 'Symphony in the Stars' salutes the saga's most dramatic stories and brings you as close to the Force as you can get."

Star Wars Weekends Returning To Disney World

The annual celebration of everything Star Wars is returning to Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios this spring. Get ready to meet characters, meet actors (Mark Hamill came by for the first time, last year), enjoy delicious Star Wars-themed snacks, and then some! Look for them every weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) from May 15-June 14, 2015. Right now, specifics for this year's event are vague, but I will be sure to keep you posted as to what events you can expect to enjoy and what celebrities you can expect to meet. I can tell you that the Star Wars Character Dinings have returned this year! They premiered last year and include:

• Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast! at the Sci-Fi Dine in Theater Restaurant. This meal will include visits from characters such as Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Jawas, Greedo, and Boba Fett. During the breakfast, guests will be able to enjoy classic Star Wars scenes on the big screen.

• Jedi Mickey's Star Wars Dine at Hollywood and Vine is a dinner offering that invites Jedi Mickey, Prince Leia Minnie, Storm Trooper Donald, Darth Goofy, and Ewok Chip & Dale to dine with guests.

Feel the Force VIP Event At Star Wars Weekends!

2014 brings so much New to Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios and, now, you can take it all in with VIP status thanks to the "Feel the Force Dining Event." While dining is, in fact, a part of this package, the "Feel the Force Dining Event," actually encompasses so much more! Participating guests will actually receive VIP viewing for the Star Wars "Legends of the Force" motorcade with soft drinks, water, and a snack provided for their enjoyment. And, by the way, if you haven't already heard, Mark Hamill will be joining the parade this year! Imagine how early folks are going to be vying for good spots along the motorcade route to see him go by! But, not guests with this new package, of course! Then, in the evening, enjoy a dessert party featuring lots of delicious snacks (including Darth Vader cupcakes), with a special, up-close viewing of "Symphony in the Stars," the Star Wars Weekends fireworks spectacular. • The Feel the Force Premium Package occurs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 16 - June 15, 2014.
• Price: adults $54, children $32 (per day, tax and gratuity included).
• Legends of the Force: Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade viewing experience happens from 11am-Noon, with the motorcade starting at 11:30am.
• Symphony in the Stars fireworks dessert party takes place from 9pm-10pm, with the firework shows beginning at approximately 9:30pm.
• To check in for this event, please visit Min and and Bill's Dockside starting at 10:30am.
• Guests will receive a wristband during the motorcade viewing that will allow entry into the evening fireworks dessert party. If you are unable to attend the motorcade viewing, please check in at Min and Bill's Dockside Diner starting at 8:30pm.
• Beverages include soda, water, tea, and coffee. The fireworks dessert party includes a specialty beverage with an alcoholic option. Guests must be 21 years of age of older to consumer alcoholic beverages.

Star Wars Weekends 2014: Full Celebrity Line-Up!

Disney has released the lineup of Star Wars Celebrities who will be joining guests at this year's Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios!

James Arnold Taylor and Ashley Eckstein (Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ashsoka Tano, respectively, from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series) will host the "Behind The Force" panel each weekend.

Star Wars Character Dinings Come To Disney World!

There have been so many amazing announcements about this year's Star Wars Weekends so far, why not add some more? Disney has already added an extra weekend to their annual Hollywood Studios' event. And, for the first time ever, Mark Hamill will be attending the celebration!

The big question is, how would you feel about a Star Wars-themed dining? How would you feel about 2? In another Disney first, Disney World will be hosting Star Wars Character Dining Experiences at their Hollywood Studios park. Guests will be able to start their day at the "Star Wars Dine-In Galactic Breakfast" at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. Your meal will be served to you while you watch clips from the Star Wars Saga on the big screen. The Star Wars characters rumored to be making the rounds throughout this dining are Darth Vader, a Storm Trooper, a Jawa, and Boba Fett. Of course, all characters are subject to change. And for the day's big finish, how about, "Jedi Mickey's Star Wars Dine at Hollywood & Vine." Mickey & Friends will be one hand here, dressed in their Star Wars best, at this interactive dinner buffet. Characters are rumored to include Jedi Mickey, Princess Leia Minnie, Darth Goofy, and Storm Trooper Donald. Again, characters are subject to change.

While these experiences are debuting around Star Wars Weekends time, they are not actually limited to those weekends alone at all. The events begin on "Star Wars Day" - May the 4th, (Get it? "May the 4th be with you," like the Star Wars line, "May the Force be with you?") and will take place daily until June 15. The breakfast will cost $47.99 for adults and $29.99 for children. The dinner buffet is $55.99 for adults and $33.99 for children (as, as part of the Fastasmic! Dinner Package, $59.99 for adults and $36.99 for children). And to top it all off, both experiences include a digital photograph!

Mark Hamill Coming To Star Wars Weekends!

Star Wars Weekends, a themed event that has taken place at Disney's Hollywood Studios for over a decade, has had many of the actual actors from the Star Wars films stop by to meet guests, sign autographs, and such. However, in all of those years, Luke Skywalker himself, actor Mark Hamill, has yet to make his way to the Most Magical Place On Earth... until this year!

Hamill will be joining Disney's Star Wars Weekends as one of the celebrity guests during Weekend IV, June 6-8. Look for him in he daily, "Legends of the Force" motorcade as well as in a featured talk show. Star Wars Weekends 2014... Extended!

Disney's Hollywood Studios has always been the park to visit for Star Wars fun. From the thrilling 3D journey, Star Tours: The Adventure Continues, to the Jedi Training Academy for kids 12 & under, the Force is strong at Walt Disney World. Star Wars Weekends, however, take that fun and excitement to another level, completely. And, this year, the celebration of everything from that galaxy far, far away is going to be extended for an additional weekend! Star Wars Weekends will be taking place:

Weekend I: Friday, May 16 - Sunday, May 18
Weekend II: Friday, May 23 - Sunday, May 25
Weekend III: Friday, May 30 - Sunday, June 1
Weekend IV: Friday, June 6 - Sunday, June 8

That's 5 weekends full of special events, merchandise, character meet & greets, and chances to meet with the stars who actually portrayed our favorite intergalactic heroes and villains in the Star Wars Saga. Plus, for the first time ever, a spectacular fireworks show, Symphony In The Stars, will take place each night of the event. Celebrty host, James Arnold Taylor, who co-hosted the events last year, will return to emcee this year's festivities, with the theme, "Join the Rebellion." In addition to the voices of hundreds of other animated characters, Taylor provides the voice for Obi-Wan Kenobi in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars."

Star Wars Weekends: 2014 Dates

The dates for Star Wars Weekends 2014 at Walt Disney World  have been announced and are as follows:

Weekend I: May 16-18, 2014
Weekend II: May 23-25, 2014
Weekend III: May 23-25, 2014
Weekend IV: June 6-8, 2014

For those who aren't yet familiar with Star Wars Weekends, they take place at Disney's Hollywood Studios and are a celebration of all things Star Wars, including Special Shows and Presentations and are designed with the whole family in mind. Meet and take pictures with your favorite characters for the Star Wars Universe, like Padme Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, and on and on. Plus, attendees also have the opportunity to meet, get autographs from, and take pictures with actors from the actual films. There is Star Wars Weekends only Disney merchandise to buy, favorite Disney characters dressed up like you've never seen them before (Jedi Mickey, for example), and so much more. And let's not forget the already daily Hollywood Studios offerings of Jedi Training Academy for children 12 and under as well as Star Tours: The Adventure Continues.
