As of November 14, 2013, Pop Century is the first Walt Disney World Resort hotel to eliminate the Key To The World Card all together, in favor of the new MagicBands. MagicBands give Disney guests access to the full range of MyMagic+ features including Touch To Pay, Touch To Enter, and FastPass+. Up until now, Disney Resorts have been providing guests with both the new MagicBands and the classic Key To The World Card, as the MyMagic+ system is still in its testing phase. However, as that testing nears completion, guests will undoubtably be seeing more hotels do away with the old system all together. Guests that do not want to wear a Magic Band in their wrist need not worry - new Key To The World type cards will be offered. These cards will have the same features as the MagicBands and will work only with the new MyMagic+ system , as opposed to the old.
