Capturing Moments With Disney's PhotoPass and Memory Maker

Christmas. Easter. Maybe Father's Day? Maybe... I'm trying to think of the different moments throughout the year when I'm actually in a picture with my kids. I sure take a lot of pictures of them, and they enjoy grabbing the camera and snapping some shots of me from time to time. But, the only pictures that I really have of all of the wonderful times that we spend together are stuck in my head and there's no USB port to transfer them from there onto a CD. Enter Disney's PhotoPass Photographers! From the first time that I walked toward the main gates of the Magic Kingdom and saw that Disney Cast Member, holding a camera, and wearing the beige PhotoPass photog. vest, something just came over me. I wanted pictures WITH my kids. And not just the big, family pictures.
I love those, I really do. But, I wanted all sorts of pictures - me with my oldest, me with my youngest, us all rough housing a bit, making silly faces, pictures snapped of us jumping in mid-air. And then I realized that the last time that my wife and I had pictures taken, just the two of us was... at our wedding!? More PhotoPass breaks! We had pictures taken of just the two of us in front of each of the four park icons in the evenings, when they were all lit up and gorgeous! You see, PhotoPass and Disney's new Memory Maker package is about more than getting pictures of your kids posing with Mickey and Friends - it's about capturing moments and memories in a way that is just not possible or, at least, doesn't happen in the "real world." It's a one-time investment in something that you will treasure for all time and I absolutely love it! In fact, I'm watching the Disney pictures from my last trip flick by on our dedicated Disney digital picture frame right now!

Memory Maker, by the way, is Disney Digital Photo Package that allows you to download all, and I do mean ALL of your PhotoPass pictures from your vacation - including rides and dining, as well as the pictures taken by the PhotoPass photographers in the parks. It's available at Disney World for $199 or, if you purchase it ahead of time from the Disney website, you can save $50 and get it for $149. Here's some more Great Info. about the Memory Maker package (as well as a comparison between its former incarnation, PhotoPass+)
