Animated Magic Shots Come To Disney's Memory Maker!

A "Classic" Magic Shot
The Value that Memory Maker is bringing to Walt Disney World Guests just keeps getting better and better! Memory Maker, of course, is the Digital Photo Package that allows Guests to download all of their PhotoPass Pictures and, most recently, Videos from their Walt Disney World Vacation, making sure that you have all of your magical moments preserved for a lifetime! Recently, we talked about on-ride videos coming to select Disney Attractions (currently Tower of Terror and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train), via the Memory Maker service. Well, now we're talking about yet another kind of video that Memory Maker is bringing you - Animated Magic Shots. Magic Shots, themselves, have been around for quite some time now. For these special snapshots, Disney PhotoPass Photographers add in all sorts of fun digital extras after the photo has been taken. The Animated Magic Shots work the same way, except that those extras move! Just ask one of the Photographers for one in the following locations:

• Epcot, behind Spaceship Earth
• Epcot, at the Norway Pavilion
• Hollywood Studios, on Hollywood Boulevard
• Animal Kingdom, on the bridge near Expedition Everest

More locations are almost certain to be added to the roster as time goes on. In fact, for the Holiday Season, Disney has plans to add addition Animated Magic Shots to Magic Kingdom and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Here's are some samples of what you can expect when you get your Animated Magic Shot:

OnBoard Videos Now Available On Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

Last month, I told you about that super cool onboard video that debuted at Hollywood Studios' Tower of Terror. At the time, I mentioned that similar videos would soon begin popping up at other Walt Disney World attractions. Well, the time has come - and this time the ride is the Magic Kingdom's brand new, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

The attraction video and photo will be available only to guests with Memory Maker linked to their My Disney Experience account and who are wearing a MagicBand while riding the Mine Train. And, check this out: If you don't yet have Memory Maker linked to your account, but you have already ridden the ride, you can still go ahead and purchase Memory Maker while you're still onsite, and the photo and video of your previous trip will automatically be added!

Here's a sample of what you can expect to see in your My Disney Experience account:

On-Board Videos Coming To Tower Of Terror Guests!

I have to say that I'm so excited about the news that I'm hearing, coming out of Hollywood Studios! Effective yesterday, guests to the Tower of Terror attraction, who have the Memory Maker photo package linked to their My Disney Experience account, now receive an on-board video of their ride added straight to their account! The videos will be available for viewing about 24 hours after riding Tower of Terror and are going to be provided in addition to the photos that guests with Memory Maker already receive from the ride. Currently, guests are required to be wearing their Magic Band during ride for the system to work. On-board videos are expected to come to other attractions around Walt Disney World, as well. I'll definitely keep you posted!
