Tip Disney Mousekeeping with Free Envelope Designs and Templates

After a long day at the parks, we love coming back to our hotel rooms to find them neat, clean, with plenty of towels, soap, and shampoo and, of course, (and maybe above all else) all of those fun little Disney extras - the cute surprises in our rooms that just make us smile! But, how often do we take an extra moment to think about the people who make all of that happen - the amazing Cast Members who work at Disney Mousekeeping. And so, as a nice gesture, and as a way of saying, "thank you for all of your attentiveness and hard work," a little bit extra for them can really go a long way toward making those good folks feel noticed and appreciated. A tip for the Disney Mousekeepers is a great way to show them how much you really do think of them and the work that they do for you each day.

At the end of this post, you will find pictures of several different "Thank You" envelopes that I created to pop your tip into each day. That raises a couple of questions, though. How much should one tip? The general rule of thumb is between $1-$2 per Guest/day. That brings us to our second question: Why tip each day as opposed to once at the end of our trip? The simple answer is that the same Mousekeeper might not be the one cleaning your room each day, meaning that at least one of the the Cast Members that you were hoping would get your tip, might not.

And that brings us back to the envelopes below. The Mousekeeping staff is not going to assume that a couple of dollars left on the nightstand is for them. Unless they clearly know that the money is meant to be a tip, they won't touch it. That's why I created the fun, and quite clear, envelopes below. This way, there will be no doubt what the money is intended for. Some Mousekeepers might choose not to accept the tip, anyway. That's totally fine because, in the end, it is the gesture that matters most. So, feel free to click on any one of the designs below to download the envelope template and instructions, featuring that design, and start celebrating some of the unsung heroes of the Disney Resorts. If there are characters that you'd like to see, but who aren't on the envelopes down below, just leave a message in the Comments or send me an email.
