This morning, we were talking Spooky; Now let's talk Festive... or is this still on the Eerie side... Over at Disneyland Park, sometimes lines can be blurred. Check out what the Imagineers have in store for this year's Haunted Mansion Holiday Gingerbread House:

In the spirit of Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas herself, " 'The whole structure has been cobbled and stitched together from other different gingerbread houses and treats,' says Tim Wollweber, Associate Art Director for Disney Parks who designed this year’s house. 'But it appears that sometime during the house’s construction, a gingerbread ghoul was entombed! Apparently he’s eager to sew himself up inside – much like another mansion graveyard ghoul you’ve probably seen.' "

And, in case you were wondering, this year's house will be made from:


• 200 lbs. Gingerbread
• 200 lbs. Powdered Sugar
• 4 gallons Egg Whites
• 1 gallon Lemon Juice
• 50 lbs. Fondant
• 1/3 lb. Glitter

Disney Egg-stravaganza Is Back!

If you like the idea of hunting for Easter Eggs, themed to Disney Characters, then you're going to love this news: Disney's Egg-stravaganza is returning to the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort this year, from March 27-April 5, 2015.

For $4.95, guests to Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and Epcot can purchase Egg-stravaganza maps and stickers. Here are the specific locations where you'll be able to find them:

• Disney California Adventure Park: Disney Jr. Kiosk, Elias & Co., Oswald's, Radiator Speings Curios, and Treasures in Paradise
• Disneyland Park: Disneyana, Disney Showcase, Fairy Tale Treasures, Little Green Men Store Command, Pieces of Eight, Pioneer Mercantile, and Stromboli's
• Epcot: Heritage Manor Gifts (American Adventure Pavilion), Pin Central, Plaza Towers (Port of Entry), and World Traveler (International Gateway)

Then, go hunting for eggs, placing a sticker on each corresponding spot on the map that you find them. When it's all said and done, return your map to the appropriate redemption location - Elia & Co. at Disney California Adventure Park, Disney Showcase in Disneyland Park, or Port of Entry in Epcot - by April 30, 2015 to receive your surprise!

The Mad T Party Returns To California Adventure

Disney California Adventure's "Mad T Party"

When Disneyland Resort's Diamond Celebration begins, on May 22, 2015, the Mad T Party will make its grand return as well! The Mad T Party, for those who haven't had the chance to go down the rabbit hole, is a nighttime dance extravaganza that took place at California Adventure Park, beginning in mid-2014 and lasting until the end of 2014. It was, and will be again, based on Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland." Staring lead singers, Alice and The Mad Hatter, the Mad T Party features a live band and resembles a club-like atmosphere. Disney also promises "new, dazzling experiences," with the show's upcoming revival.

Mickey's Halloween Party 2014 At Disneyland - Dates, Activities, And More!

Things are going to get a little bit spooky at the Disneyland Resort, because Halloween Time and Mickey's Halloween Party will be back this fall!

Halloween Time
Beginning September 12 and lasting until October 31, 2014, you'll be able to find all sorts of ways to get into the Halloween mood at Disneyland Park and California Adventure, including:

• Take a ride on the spookified Haunted Mansion Holiday, featuring Jack Skellington and the residents of Halloween Town, from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
• Experience freaky phantasms on Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy.
• Saunter through the Main Street Pumpkin Festival, where you will see hundred of hand-carved pumpkins, each one completely unique.
• Meet with Disney Villains.
• Meet Disney Characters in their Halloween costumes.
• Enjoy crafts and some not-so-spooky activities for kids.

Mickey's Halloween Party
The Halloween Party is a hard-ticket event, meaning that it is held after Disneyland Park closes for the night and is only open to guests who have purchased separate Party Tickets. Guests who do have tickets for the event are welcome to arrive at Disneyland up to 3 hours prior to the start of the party, to enjoy all that the pre-party park has to offer! Mickey's Halloween Party will be held on the following dates:

• Sept. 26 and 30
• Oct. 3, 6, 8, 10, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29, and 31

Some of the fun that Disney is planning for partygoers includes:

• The "Halloween Screams" fireworks spectacular, hosted by "Master of Scare-omonies" Jack Skellington.

runDisney has just announced the newest run to arrive from a galaxy far, far away: the Star Wars Half Marathon! Registration for this incredible event begins at Noon EDT on June 10, 2014. From Disney:

Choose your Destiny!  There’s a run for Jedi Knights and Padawans of every age and skill level including the Star Wars Half Marathon, Star Wars 10K and Star Wars 5K, and the runDisney Kid Races.  Put yourself to the ultimate test and join the Star Wars Rebel Challenge combining the Star Wars 10K and Half Marathon for an out-of-this-world running adventure.  As Jedi Master Yoda says, “Do or do not. There is no try!”  So DO be a part of the inaugural 2015 Star WarsHalf Marathon Weekend, January 15-18, 2015.

You'll need all the power of the Force for this 2-day, 19.3-mile run. Rebels who finish both races are awarded the Star Wars Rebel Challenge Finisher Medal in addition to the Half Marathon and 10K Finisher Medals.

Feel the power of the Force!

The Star Wars 10K race begins on Disneyland Drive where you’ll pass under the Downtown Disney® District on your way into Disney California Adventure® Park.  There you’ll make your way through all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood Blvd, race down Route 66, and past breathtaking Paradise Bay.  The race will travel down turn-of-the-century Main Street U.S.A., before it makes its way around the Rivers of America. After Disneyland®Park, the race will cut through Downtown Disney® by the Disneyland® Hotel continuing on to the City of Anaheim.  You’ll race through the enchanting, historic neighborhoods of downtown Anaheim, down the Anaheim Center Street Promenade and past Anaheim Ice on your way towards City Hall. Before returning to the Disneyland® Resort, you’ll make your way past the Anaheim GardenWalk and then it’s on to a spectacular finish near Disney’s Paradise Pier® Hotel.

Jedi training for the tiniest Padawans!

It's never too early to start your Jedi training! Every child eight and younger is invited to join the fun and participate in the runDisney Kids Races during the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend. Encourage your child to be a part of the excitement and sign up for any of the Kids Dashes. There's even a Diaper Dash for crawlers! Space is limited. Each participant goes home a winner with a Finisher Medallion to remember all the magic.

Parents are allowed to run with their children, but only registered children will receive a finisher medallion. The event will follow a rolling start beginning with the 100m dash followed by the 200m, 400m and Diaper Dash.

• 12 months and under - Diaper Dash for crawlers
• 1-3 years old - 100m dash
• 4-6 years old - 200m dash

Disney's Rock Your Disney Side event is coming, so it's about time that we talked about the entertainment that you can expect to enjoy at this year's bi-coastal, 24-hour extravaganza! A Bi-Coastal, 24 Hr. Disney Event!

Get ready to Rock Your Disney Side this May 23, 2014. That's because you're invited to the 24-hour, "Rock Your Disney Side Party," at both Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Celebrate by dressing as your favorite hero or villain and enjoy a serious of events featuring the good-vs.-evil of classic Disney stories, including fabulous meet-and-greets throughout the parks, special entertainment and, of course, event merchandise, and special food and beverage offerings.

Perhaps the coolest thing, aside from the upcoming party itself, was the way that it was announced: with a 140 character tweet!

Little Mermaid Annual Passholder Only Party!

Great news for Disneyland Annual Passholders! You've been invited to the celebration of the Blu-ray release of The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition! Annual Passholders only will be given access to Disney California Adventure park for 3 hours after its closing, from 8pm-11pm, on both September 5 and September 19 of this year. Registration and wristband distribution will begin at Noon on the days of the event and space is limited. Registered guests can also receive a Little Mermaid gift as they leave the park for the night!

New 'World of Color' For the Holiday Season!

The Disney Parks are absolutely breathtaking around the winter holidays. Well, here is another amazing Holiday Season addition coming to the Disneyland Resort: "World of Color - Winter Dreams." This, all new version of the ever-popular Word of Color show at Disney California Adventure Park will begin showing to guests on November 15 and will continue throughout the holiday season. Here's what Disney had to say about it:

Hosted by Olaf the snowman, from the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures animated feature "Frozen," the "World of Color - Winter Dreams" show combines new animation with classic winter scenes from such beloved Disney films as "Bambi," "Fantasia" and "Toy Story." The show will include new special effects and present some new methods for utilizing the massive "stage" of water, color and light on which "World of Color" is presented.

A Monstrous All-Nighter!

Have you heard about the first, ever Disney All-Nighter!? To celebrate the start of a Monstrous Summer, Disney will hosting a country-wide party, including Magic Kingdom Park and both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. The parks will stay open from 6am (local time) on May 24, 2013 and will remain open until 6am on May 25. The party will include special entertainment, unique merchandise, as well as "frightening food and boo-verages."
